Winifred is a sweet little tabby cat who loves company.

She always rushes to answer the doorbell with a plate of freshly baked cookies.

“Please, have a cookie,” she will say, whether her visitor is a neighbor, the mailman, or a total stranger. It is very important to Winifred to extend her hospitality.

"Please visit again soon,” she will always say, with her pretty little kitty smile.

Winifred is wearing a dress the color of burnt orange, with a pale orange ruffle at the neck and sleeves. Her matching sash ties in the back in a big bow. Little blue flowers with yellow centers decorate her dress, and her white petticoats can be seen below her hemline.

Suzannah is a sweet little ginger tabby cat.

This is the year Suzannah was old enough to go to the county fair.

It was love at first sight when Suzannah saw the little prize bear behind the counter. She begged her daddy to throw the ball and knock down the bottles. On the first two tries, he missed. Then, giving her a wink and a nod, he threw the last ball. Down went the bottles!

Suzannah squealed with delight and pointed to the cuddly little teddy bear in the yellow overalls. She has cherished him ever since.

Suzannah’s dress has a double ruffle at the neckline that has a border of antique white. The big sash tied in a bow at the back matches the blue ruffle. Her dress is a beautiful shade of green with white polka dots, and her white petticoats can be seen below the hemline.

Hyacinth might be described as an intellectual.

She is currently attending Kitty College to get her master’s degree in human psychology. The book she carries is called KNOW YOUR HUMAN. It has lots of good tips.

Hyacinth has noticed that life seems very complicated for the human beings around her. They often require her help in solving their problems, and frequently need her counseling.

Hyacinth patiently points out to them that life is really very simple. You eat, you play, you sleep. That’s about it.

In her careful observation of human beings, Hyacinth has noted that there is a direct correlation between their being in a good mood, and giving out kitty treats.

She has determined that it is in her best interest to keep them as cheerful as possible.

As you may know, teddy bears are not terribly talkative, but with these two, no words are needed. The message is clear.

He has gotten all dressed up to say it with flowers. She holds her head to one side, overcome with shyness and admiration of her handsome suitor. Love is in the air, and all around them. That makes today a very beautiful day!

Fairy Bear by Max Bailey

Fairy Bears do only good deeds, and are so light they can sit in the middle of big pink roses without squashing them. Mine has a blue wand with a gold star on the end. He can just touch a rosebud with the wand, and it will open into a full bloom. This accomplished, his gossamer wings will carry him off to the next mission.

I gave him a circular border of other garden flowers, already open.

Daisy Chains by Max Bailey

A simple spool of thread and some field daisies are all it takes to keep these two little girl bunnies occupied and very pleased with themselves. Their grandmother showed them how to line up the stems of the daisies and wind the thread around them, to make crowns, necklaces, bracelets, and even ankle bracelets.

The one sitting on the tree stump, who has done all the work, has a huge sense of pride and accomplishment in her creations. The other knows, even without a mirror, that she has become far more beautiful than she was before.

Natasha and Ivan, Original One-of-a-kind Russian Blue Cat Folk Art Doll Figurine by Max Bailey

Natasha is a lovely Russian Blue cat.

Her favorite doll is Ivan. He’s a puppy dog doll with a sad little wrinkled face.

Natasha’s friends find it scandalous that she carries around a doggie doll, but Natasha prides herself on being open-minded.

"Not all doggies are the same”, she tells them. “Some of them are very friendly and are nice to kitties.”

Her friends don’t believe her. They won’t allow Natasha to bring Ivan to their tea parties.

Natasha worries that Ivan feels left out. She cuddles with him at naptime and tells him that she loves him, and not to be sad.
