Carolina Chickadee and Eastern Red Cedar by A E Ruffing

For me, nothing typifies winter more than the sight of a Black-capped Chickadee perched on a snowy branch. I've given this alert and sprightly bird a background of soft wintry colors with just a suggestion of trees against the sky.

This little bird has been a part of my "Songbirds of the South" collector plate series from Oxmoor House/Southern Living Gallery, and he's been on a holiday card from the National Wildlife Federation.

"Carolina Chickadee and Eastern Red Cedar" is an original watercolor painting. Christmas Elf Prints by Max Bailey

The sweet little elf above is dreaming of Christmas, while his chickadee friends keep him company. A big yellow moon is coming up in the night sky behind him. It is called "A Christmas Dream".

In "Final Touches", Santa's helpers are very busy putting the finishing touches on a Christmas ornament. Only the most artistic mice get to be Santa's helpers!

Rosa the Flower Baby Original Art Doll by Elizabeth Ruffing

She's done! This is Rosa the flower baby, an original, one-of-a-kind fairy art doll.

Rosa has an antique reproduction baby face of papier mâché. Her head and ears are paperclay, and her body is 100% cotton cloth.
